Rosemary Charles – Trustee Chair
Rosemary Charles has been a trustee for Tobias since 2021.
She is currently chief of staff for Risk at Bnpparibas having had 30 years in the financial risk business in the U.K. Asia and Australia.
She is also a trained naturopathic nutritionist. She is also involved with a number of charities and organisations in the U.K.

Lady Catriona Alderton
Catriona is a Tobias graduate, and has been practising Art Therapy and teaching art classes since 2010. She previously worked in Human Resources, Skills and Training. Her family are Diplomats, as is her husband. Living overseas for most of her life has has given her a unique cultural perspective, instilling values of tolerance, understanding and respect. Catriona is currently living in London, working remotely as Tobias Student Placement Coordinator (part time).

Christopher Clouder
Christopher Clouder is an international lecturer and author of books and many articles, not only on Steiner education but also on other educational and cultural subjects. He has made presentations in the EU and Westminster parliaments was instrumental in gaining public funding for Steiner education in England. Christopher is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. From 1989 to 2012 he was the founder and CEO of the European Council for Steiner Waldorf Education that spans some 680 schools in 27 countries. In 1997 he co-established the Alliance for Childhood, a global network which promotes the right of young children to be allowed to experience their childhood in a healthy and fulfilling way. He now chairs the Alliance for Childhood Foundation in Brussels. Christopher was also Director of Research on Social and Emotional Education and Creativity for the Fundación Botín and his international teams published six reports on these themes.

Jane Quail
Transpersonal Arts Counsellor (MCGI)
Jane Quail is a graduate of Tobias and has had a connection with the school since 2006. She worked for twelve years at Nutley Hall, an independent adult residential care community for people with learning disabilities. Jane is an artist and maker and Therapeutic Arts Counsellor.

Mrs Georgie Elwes
Georgie Elwes joined the Tobias board of trustees in 2025. She became a teacher in her 40s, having previously worked in public relations. She brings an enthusiasm for adult learning and an understanding of its value to empower mature students.

Mr Rob Dobson
Rob joined the board of Trustees in May 2024 providing both local resident knowledge and commercial, technical & business experience. Rob has worked for over 30 years in the global communications industry and brings to Tobias his time, attention to detail and a wealth of both project and personnel management experience.
