Helen Mandy – Head of School

Transpersonal Arts Counsellor (MCGI), Waldorf teacher training (SA), National Dip. Fine Arts, MBACP (Accred).

Helen is the Head of School at Tobias, appointed in 2024. With over five years of experience as a Senior Lecturer at Tobias, Helen is a qualified Transpersonal Arts Counsellor with a background in Waldorf education, having served as a class guardian and upper school art teacher for 17 years in South Africa. Helen’s Tranpersonal arts  counselling work spans private practice and various educational settings—supporting children, teenagers and adults—alongside roles in charitable organisations offering low-cost services as well as to vulnerable women. A practising artist with a passion for nature-based therapy, Helen often integrates outdoor and creative approaches into her work.
