Welcome, Sun Cohort!

We are very excited  to welcome you to Tobias!

There are three long weeks in this academic year – one in each term. These dates can be found on the Virtual Learning Platform (see below for more information).

There are some evenings where we will have guests coming in to give Twilight lectures (5:15PM – 6:15PM) so we can maximise your teaching day. You will be given a training timetable with all the date fixtures at the start of each term.

Materials

You will need to purchase art material packs upon – see below

LUNCH

Please bring your lunch with you each day. We have two fridge spaces and all the cooking facilities you will need to cook or re-heat anything.

Refreshments

We provide tea, various herbal and flavoured teas, coffee, cow’s milk, oat milk and biscuits for each break. If you prefer a different milk, have an allergy or another dietary requirement, bring what you need along with you for these breaks.

Overnight Accomodation

Overnight accommodation may be available at Peredur Centre – immediately adjacent to Tobias. The email address for Peredur is info@peredurcentre.com and Colin is our contact there. He is very efficient.

Please contact him at the above email address to secure your accommodation and remember to include the long weeks.

Parking

For those who are driving, there is ample free parking in our car park.

Other Information

In the unlikely event that the training is cancelled, Tobias undertakes to refund any money received from you in full.  As an assurance, you should know that we have not cancelled a training in the 46 years we have been operating.

If you need to withdraw from the training, Tobias will refund half (£250.00) of your deposit paid and any further fees paid.

There is an option to pay monthly. Please do let us know if this is your preferred method of payment and we can arrange this.

Student Zone

The Complete Sun Virtual Learning Zone launches on the 21st September  2026. You will be shown all the features in your first week and given all the access information then. We are starting a new cycle of names, now after the planets, with your cohort’s name, the Sun, leading the way going forward.

We have uploaded some fun painting/drawing exercises and information.  These are entirely optional and designed to keep you inspired and motivated until you formally begin your training. In addition there are interesting articles, term dates,  information on your materials pack and your student contracts.  Once you begin your training you will have access to all our learning resources.

We are looking forward to accompanying you on your journey of creativity and transformation.
