About the Course:
The course aims to enable counsellors and therapists to explore the complex and profound needs of children and young people under 18, survivors of sexual abuse and those who have experienced unwanted sexual contact. We will look at the key principles of trauma
informed therapy, Gillick Competency, capacity and professionalism. We will also look at case studies and how safeguarding underpins our work. There will be space for participants to do some creative activities.
