Uncovering the Form in the Stone

In this practical workshop you will practice basic stone carving techniques whilst creating your own artwork in soapstone. To help develop creativity and competences, personal and group observation of each others’ artwork will be undertaken, along with short lectures on the use of stone throughout art history.
Maria Albiez, RATh, Art Therapist and Sculptor. She is a Faculty member at Tobias School of Art and Therapy.
