The Colour of Memory
With Richard Heys
9:30am-4pm:
Monday 22 – Thursday 25 July 2019
Cost: £200.00
Working with the warmth of gouache we shall layer and build networks and structures through veils of colour. By slowly developing these colour fields an in-scape or inner landscape may arise. We will nurture this unique sense of place bringing it to greater clarity by intensifying and enriching the colour fields and developing contrasting strength of tone.
We shall work with Chinese Hake brushes and fluid colours.
Richard Heys, artist, is based in East Sussex. He tutors art and art history at Emerson College, Tobias School of Art and Therapy, and in London.
