Wearing the Red Shoes – How to work with Trauma Creatively. CPD

With Anna Atkinson
10:00am-4pm:
Monday 29 – Wednesday 31 July 2019
Cost: £150.00

This workshop will show how working with fairy tales like ‘The Red Shoes’ can tackle trauma creatively. Themes explored include trauma self-harm, shame, addiction and isolation. Through art, movement, writing and voice we will weave together both collective and personal narratives so that they can become a safe vessel for traumatic content without the risk of re-traumatisation.

Anna Atkinson, a graduate of Tobias, has been working with myth, storytelling and art in crisis settings for over six years.
