This course offers participants an artistic exploration of the beautiful South Downs inspired by the work of Georgia O’Keeffe. Making a short excursion down to the Downs, we shall find vantage points for our work above the village of Wilmington, East Sussex, sketching our impressions and sensations in situ. Bringing this work back to the studio we shall further develop our impressions of the previous day in larger scale and stronger colour.
