During the summer we ran a workshop exploring the colourful world of synesthesia where all sound and music can be perceived as colour and invoke images and moods.
Inspired by a variety of musical genres, we explored this artistically through line, form and colour, capturing the beat, rhythm, melody and mood.
This is a relationship between Space and Time: music exists in linear time and the visual art image in space.
The course was run by Gill David and Michelle Redgrave-Moore.
