“Improvise freely on the keyboard of colours….” Kandinsky
We will explore the colourful world of synesthesia where all sound and music can be perceived as colour and invoke images and moods.
Inspired by a variety of musical genres, we will explore this artistically through line, form and colour, capturing the beat, rhythm, melody and mood. This is a relationship between Space and Time: music exists in linear time and the visual art image in space.
Join us in the exploration of capturing the essence of music in visual art.
