Students from the Tobias School of Art and Therapy have been putting their skills to the test and been working in the local community.
Three students from Tobias have been working closely with ‘Creative Expressions’ a weekly art group run by the East Grinstead & District Association for Mental Health whose aim is to provide opportunities for people with mental health issues to experience a range of artistic activities. As a result the clients from Creative Expressions gain self-esteem, satisfaction and confidence as well as developing artistic skills.
At the culmination of the course the Tobias students hosted an art exhibition at their school in East Grinstead for Creative Expressions, their family, friends and invited guests.
The art exhibition can be viewed by the general public until October 15th 2016 by appointment.
