Note: Accommodation, food, materials and travel are not included in the fees. Fees are subject to annual review and possible increase.
Modular Transpersonal Arts in Therapy Training (Five weeks per year over four years – Three weeks June/July and Two weeks in March)
Deposit (non-refundable and offset against the first module’s fees) - £300
2012 - April / July (two modules, year-round mentoring) - £2050
2013 - July / April (two modules, year-round mentoring) - £2300
2014 - July / April (two modules, year-round mentoring) - £2550
Placement period, case studies, dissertation support and mentoring - £1000
Mar 2015 Spring module (Three Weeks), Assessment and Presentation - £1500
Additional fee for late submission : £300
If unable to complete the course within the programmed period then a
re-registration fee will be charged for each subsequent 6-month period
until completion, commencing August 2015.
Personal Therapy and Supervision Fees : £40-£45 per hour
Transpersonal Arts in Therapy students are required to have a minimum of 40 hours of personal therapy (counselling and/or art therapy) taken regularly throughout the duration of the course.
- Students are required to undertake 120 days of clinical practice.
- 20 hours of supervision. Can cost between £40-£45 per hour. [This cost is generally borne by the institution where the placement is undertaken.]
Campus accommodation - £65-£75 per week or £15.00 per night (if available on site)
Private single room sharing bathrooms and kitchen with other students. Residents share kitchen and bathroom cleaning and other small jobs. Please reserve your room early if you want to live on campus.
Art materials
Estimated at £200 during the first year, and, once the basic materials have been bought, less in the second year. Mainly watercolours, brushes, boards, paper, pastels and drawing materials are required.
Food
Personal expenses vary greatly with habits of diet. Health food and organic vegetables are readily available.
Personal Belongings
Student’s personal belongings still remaining at Tobias after 6 months from the completion of the course may be liable to be removed and/or destroyed.
Shopping/public transport
East Grinstead town centre with supermarkets, shops and local busses, is 15 min. walk; the train station is 30 min. walk from Tobias. Trains from London Victoria to East Grinstead, approximately one hour. Nearest airport Gatwick (20 minutes by taxi).
Tuition days
Modular programme is based on two weeks in the spring and three weeks in the summer (except for the Spring 2015 module which is 3 weeks long). These weeks are full-time including some evenings, but do entail rest evenings and days.
